Medium juniper was obtained in 1890 in Germany in the Späth nursery and named after the nursery employee Wilhelm Fitzer (Pfitzeriana). Coniferous evergreen shrub of medium size with a spreading crown. By the age of 10, the plant reaches 1.2 m in height and about 2 m in diameter, and in adulthood it grows 3 m in height and up to 4-5 m in diameter. It grows quickly, the annual growth is about 18-20 cm. The root system is deep, highly branched.
